Departure from Marrakech
Meet your driver at 8:00 AM near your hotel or riad. Begin your journey south through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters, the highest road in Morocco. Witness the ever-changing landscapes—from red earth and terraced fields to rocky formations and traditional Berber villages.
Scenic Stops in the Atlas Mountains
Pause at panoramic viewpoints to admire the spectacular scenery and take photographs. Short coffee or tea breaks can be arranged to enjoy the serenity of the mountains.
Arrival at Ait Ben Haddou
Reach the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village that has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987. The kasbah rests on a sandstone hill by the Onila River and offers a compact yet striking view of Moroccan architectural heritage.
Guided Visit
Cross the new village to the foot of the ancient settlement and wander through a maze of narrow streets, kasbahs with geometric decorations, and arches carved in clay.
