Witness the ever-changing landscapes—from red earth and terraced fields to rocky formations and traditional Berber villages.

Scenic Stops in the Atlas Mountains

Pause at panoramic viewpoints to admire the spectacular scenery and take photographs. Short coffee or tea breaks can be arranged to enjoy the serenity of the mountains.

Arrival at Ait Ben Haddou

Reach the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village that has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987. The kasbah rests on a sandstone hill by the Onila River and offers a compact yet striking view of Moroccan architectural heritage.

Cross the new village to the foot of the ancient settlement and wander through a maze of narrow streets, kasbahs with geometric decorations, and arches carved in clay. Climb to the old granary at the top of the hill, once a defensive outpost, and immerse yourself in the history and traditions of the region.

Lunch

Enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal at a local restaurant overlooking the kasbah, featuring classic dishes such as tagines, couscous, or grilled meats.

Optional Visit to Ouarzazate

If time allows, continue to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Morocco,” to explore the Atlas Film Studios or the Taourirt Kasbah, gaining insight into Morocco’s film history.
