Departure from Marrakech
Meet your driver at 9:00 am near your hotel/riad. Drive toward Tahannaout, ascending into the High Atlas Mountains through valleys and plateaus. Admire the striking contrast between the red earth, green vegetation, and blue sky while observing daily life in Berber villages with their adobe architecture.
Arrival in Asni (1150m)
Cross the Rherhaia gorges to reach Asni, a small Berber village dominated by Jebel Toubkal (4160m). On Saturdays, enjoy the bustling market filled with fruits, vegetables, domestic animals, and donkeys. Participate in a traditional Berber tea ritual hosted by a local family.
Visit Setti Fatma and Ourika Valley
Continue along the north side of Jebel Toubkal to the village of Setti Fatma, where you can stop briefly to enjoy the surroundings. Then, return to Marrakech via the Ourika Valley, following the river and passing picturesque landscapes of the High Atlas.
